Tradiciones Des Dibujadas at Art Gallery Villa Manuela

We spent almost an hour at Art Gallery Villa Manuela admiring Tradiciones Des Dibujadas which I believe means: drawn from tradition. The art show was a collection of different forms of drawing utilizing different materials ranging from traditional mediums such as pencil to plastic etchings illuminated with light to a 3d installation created with string, wire, and wood. All of the work was really impressive but my favorites were the illuminated acrylic etching and the string, wire, and wood sculptural piece. I also favored the minimal image of the lightning bolt.

The gallery space itself was quite neat. It wasn’t huge, but it was a good size and had plenty of distinct areas for featuring work.
