Rocky Horror Picture Show
|Karl and I had the pleasure of attending a Rocky Horror Picture Show screening / prop party at the Public Library of Anniston & Calhoun County today. It’s been years since I’ve seen the movie, and over a decade since I included an event that included props. This was my first time actually participating with props. It was a lot of fun.
For $5 each we got a prop bag filled with all kinds of goodies to go with the movie: bubbles, rubber gloves, newspaper, greeting cards, silly sunglasses and headgear, toilet paper, and more. This event also featured shadow-casting by Kimberlite Productions which meant there were a group of actors there dressed up in costume that performed commentary, dancing, and shadow acting throughout the film. It was a really nice touch that brought the movie to life. I’d forgotten how naughty the movie is so I’m glad the event was 18+. Plus it was nice to have an adults night.
