House Hunting

Karl and I began looking for our first home in the fall of 2004. We originally looked at some much nicer and newer homes, but they were all small with small rooms, built on steep hills, and had price tags that were too high for the lack of space. Karl and I liked the idea of remodeling a home to suit our own needs and to kind of make it our own.

We came across this cape cod style house around Thanksgiving. It needed a lot of work, but it had a lot of character, space, and the price was right. The house almost looks like an A-frame house because it was built sideways with extended walls (wings) on the front for style. Cute.
