I adhered to a high protein keto diet for almost two years several years ago and had great results, but it was so restrictive it was unsustainable. I want to make permanent, sustainable changes to my dietary health, and after further researching ketogenic diets I have settled on a high fat, moderate protein model.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I have several health issues, most notably Polycystic Ovarian&nbsp;Syndrome (PCOS) and the weight and hormone problems associated with it, that have really driven my motivation to be more conscious&nbsp;of what I put into my body. However, at this point, after everything I have learned, especially in regards to how unhealthy sugar is, I would still choose to pursue a sugar-free diet without the extra motivation.
