We&#8217;re learning the Waltz, Foxtrot, and Tango, and I think we&#8217;re doing pretty good considering we haven&#8217;t practiced much. Karl&#8217;s pretty slick and is having a good time which makes me happy. I&#8217;m most excited about the waltz since it&#8217;s what I would consider an essential dance to know, but the Tango is the most fun. Karl does really well as long as he doesn&#8217;t hear anyone else counting steps. I&#8217;m trying to focus on being a better follower which isn&#8217;t easy for me. Overall it&#8217;s just really nice to learn something together, especially how to move together since it involves us both physically having to work together. I feel like these dance lessons kind of double as some sort of couples trust exercise.\u00a0I&#8217;m also hoping these lessons will\u00a0inspire Karl to dance with me more often. He seemed pretty excited tonight so I think they&#8217;re working.
