It&#8217;s probably the most uneventful month I&#8217;ve had in nearly two years. When not working on school work I worked on the house, and played League of Legends with friends. I did manage to listen to a couple of audiobooks, and I watched a good tv show called <em>The OA<\/em>. Karl&#8217;s been working long hours at work, but he fixed our kitchen sink and is almost done insulating our second bedroom upstairs. It&#8217;s both nice and frustrating to have such a dull month but we have some things to look forward to in the next few months.<\/p>\n<h4>Grad School<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Began my 2nd semester of grad school\n<ul>\n<li>The Book Pitch with Jamie Runnels<\/li>\n<li>History of the Printed Picture with Dr. Karen Henricks<\/li>\n<li>GTA for Graphic Design II with Christian Dunn<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Projects &amp; Work<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>I spent the tail end of my holiday break processing photos from my JHS Band shoot and a friend&#8217;s vow renewal.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Lots of social media and blog work for JSU Art Department<\/li>\n<li>Bought a new version of Quicken and worked on updating our accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Scanned Pawpaw&#8217;s Stamp Collection<\/li>\n<li>Studied Japanese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Indulgences<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Video Games: League of Legends<\/li>\n<li>Audiobooks: Ringworld and The Ringwood Engineers.&nbsp;Both were very good.<\/li>\n<li>Lynda.com<\/li>\n<li>The OA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>House Progress<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Karl replaced our kitchen faucet which had been leaking.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Insulation in the studio is almost complete!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Family Stuff<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Celebrated Marshall&#8217;s 31st Birthday<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Health<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Plagued with almost constant migraines all month.<\/li>\n<li>Insomnia, deep dreaming, and trouble waking\n<ul>\n<li>I wake up between 1:30-3:30 AM almost everyday and can&#8217;t fall back asleep until 5-7 AM then I end up sleeping super late.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>My left wrist has been swollen on the side for half the month but it doesn&#8217;t hurt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>January came and went in a flash.
