Star Wars Cosplay

A closer look at our Star Wars costumes worn for Halloween 2016. They’re always a little different every time we wear them — or mine is at least. I think I’ve finally found a Sith makeup look that I’m happy with. I normally wear a long sleeve black silk renaissance shirt and pant set as my base but I found a short sleeve black top and a more comfortable pair of pants at Lane Bryant and opted to wear them instead — much more comfortable!

The foam should armor has held up better than expected. It’s almost two years old and is still holding it’s shape and is damage free. The contacts are a little over a year old. They supposedly expire at one year but they still feel fine. I’ve only worn them 4-5 times and am hoping they last till December so I can wear them to the Rogue One premiere.

Karl’s costume is holding up well. The obi is a bit of a pain to put on and keep in place. If I ever make one again I need to adjust how the obi attaches in the back so it doesn’t pucker.
