Sleep Study
|

Help! I went in for a sleep study but was assimilated by the Borg.
I spent the night connected to wires and things to determine whether or not I have Sleep Apnea. It was uncomfortable but I was diagnosed with mild Sleep Apnea which I take as a good thing since the diagnosis will hopefully provide a solution to the sleep issues and chronic fatigue I’ve experienced since I was a teenager. I don’t recall all of the stats but the doctor said I stopped breathing about 12 times an hour, and that my mind was active about 112 time an hour (almost twice a minute) — no wonder I always feel so fatigued.
The sensors on my face and in my hair were attached with a gel that was difficult to remove the next morning. I felt like I was trying to wash/scrape candlewax out of my hair.
