Bitstrips was a service designed to allow users to create comic strips using personalized avatars, and present templates and poses. Snapchat acquired it in 2016 and shut down the Bitstrip service keeping only the Bitmoji service to use for its app. It’s a shame Snapchat shut down the Bitstrips component as I really enjoyed making comics with it. I’ve wanted to do a web comic series called The Carol & Karl Show for awhile and will eventually, even if it’s rough doodles. Bitstrips was a great way to try to develop the tone I want.
